3draw: copyright (c) Andrew Gaunt, July 1988 ------------------------------------------- 3draw is a program to draw "3d" pictures on a colour screen To see the 3D effect the viewer must have wear 3D spectacles similar to those worn to watch 3D movies in the theater. These spectacles should be obtainable from a Comic Book store. They can be made with a piece of transparent red plastic and transparent green or cyan plastic. Tape this plastic over the lenses of a pair of safety glasses or an old pair of eye glasses. Put the red over the left lense and the green/cyan over the right lense. This program is distributed with the following files: -------------------------------------------------------------------- 3draw.exe - The Executable (compiled w/Quick Basic 4.0) These two files are not needed to run 3draw readme.doc - This file, not needed to run 3draw bugs.doc - Bugs or future enhancements (some may be fixed) These files are neede to run 3draw during "Help" They are text files read by the help subroutine. command.hlp - file for Command mode. enters command mode cursor.hlp - file for cursor (draw) mode. Ex: "3draw starcube" on the command line will load the previously drawn and saved file starcube.3dw Try this. Load starcube (3draw starcube) then stand back and walk from one side of the room to the other. You should see the cube from different angles. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I hope others will enjoy this program.
